Description

Includes a typescript carbon copy of the lecture as read, and a partial typescript carbon copy of an earlier version of this lecture with handwritten annotations which were incorporated into the final version. The earlier version was originally entitled Blood groups and human genetics, and was delivered by Ruth Sanger to the Diploma of Clinical Pathology Haematology Course at the Royal Postgraduate Medical School, Hammersmith, 6 May 1970.

Also includes a letter and notes about a television interview, and copies of Ortho News, 18 Sep 1970, and Pathology Daily News, 16 Sep 1970, which include articles about the Award and the lecture.
