Black and white reproduction of a watercolour described as Mesue held by Wellcome Collection. The M series registersuggests that the subject is Mesue, probably Mesue Junior, or "pseudo-Mesue" the presumed author of a 10th or 11th century compendium of drugs, of which the Arabic original is unknown.
