These papers were given to the Contemporary Medical Archives Centre in 1985 by Ramsay's son, Michael Ramsay.

Biographical note

R A Ramsay was a general surgeon who held posts to the Metropolitan Hospital and the Belgrave Hospital for Children, both in London.
