"Tax exemption"

From what appears to have been a section in a ring binder. Correspondence and papers about a campaign led by Nicholas Dobrik to make distributions of the Thalidomide Trust exempt from income tax. Includes a copy of a summary "Historical background of Thalidomide Settlement" written by Alex Purkis, in October 1974.

Dobrik was a beneficiary of the Thalidomide Trust and a representative of the Labour Party Disabled Members Group in London. Purkis was Chairman of the Society in 1974.
