Description
RSA attended the first conference on mental health in Africa from which the Nigerian NAMH developed. She was asked by Dr Lambo, of University College Hospital Ibadan, to make recommendations for a training programme which would meet the needs of the developing community care service in Nigeria and subsequently kept up her interest in the country and the personal contacts she had made during the visit.
