A number of cuttings from local and national newspapers on a wide variety of subjects including the last batch of 'Hazeline Snow' to be manufactured at Dartford; opening of a £1 million extension and a £300,000 headquarters for Burroughs Wellcome at Dartford by the Deputy Chairman of the Wellcome Trust, Professor Sir John McMichael; presentations to long serving staff; visits by Chilean, German, Ghanaian and Swiss students to the Dartford site; the delivery of vaccines to a number of international destinations (for example, cholera vaccines were sent to Abu Dhabi, Muscat, Tripoli, Benghazi and Gibraltar; typhoid vaccines were delivered to flood affected areas of Romania; a number of articles on the delivery of cholera and typhoid vaccines to flood areas in East Pakistan); reports of a shortage in typhoid vaccines in Britain; a report on the effects on the pharmaceutical industry of a 'go-slow' by electrical workers; proposals put forward to workers at Dartford in an attempt to simplify the wage structure and overtime rules and plans for a new £2 million extension to the Dartford headquarters of Burroughs Wellcome.
