Two images on one negative: the first is a photograph of a ward to protect the house against theft or disaster taken at a house in Abong, Nigeria. The second is a photograph of a smallpox rememdy in a village of the Ekoi people in southeast Nigeria. They were reproduced as plate 24, figure 3 and figure 4 in Parkinson, John: "A Note on the Efik and Ekoi Tribes of the Eastern Province of Southern Nigeria, W.C.A."
