SELECTED TESTIMONIALS. 1, South Street, Keighley, April nth, 1885. I have much pleasure in testifying to the trustworthiness of Mr. Parker’s Patent Niagara Filters for re- moving lead as well as all other impurities from drinking water. Quite recently I had water taken from my kitchen tap and analysed, and it was found distinctly contaminated with lead. A sample of the same water after passing through Parker’s Filter was quite pure. As the lead accumulates in the bed of the Filter there comes a time when it will take up no more. Generally speaking, the bed requires renewing every eighteen months or two years, and Parker’s Filter is so constructed that this can be done by any one. J. 13. I have much pleasure in informing you that on analysis of the water after passing through both my filters, there was not a trace of lead, although the same water, before being thus filtered, was proved to contain that metal. I have therefore had confidence in recommending the use of your “Niagara Filters’’ to many of my patients, suffering in a more or less severe degree from lead poisoning. I am, yours truly, HFNRY PULLON, M.B., C.M. Keighley, April loth, 1885. Having used one of Parker’s Patent Niagara Filters for some time, I have pleasure in adding my testimony to its efficiency. It possesses many advantages (e.g.,) rapid and perfect filtration ; every part being easily ac- cessible, it can not only be kept clean but the filtering bed renewed by the owner. In localities where the water is contaminated with lead it is invaluable, as from analysis I find it removes all traces of that metal. F. H. TETLPIY, Surgeon. Enclosed please find cheque in payment of my tw'O Filters, which, I am glad to say fully verifies the high opinion I had formed of the Niagara Filter. The simplicity of construction, and easy method of cleaning and renewing the filtering material pleases me much, and 1 find on analysis of the water after filtration, not a trace of lead or a?iy other objectionable matter. Dr. Henry White has pleasure in testifying to the great efficiency of Parker’s Niagara Filter. 7'his testimony is given after trying two of these filters for about a year; and Dr. H. I have examined one of your Niagara Filters, and have pleasure in stating that I consider it an excellent one. The materials used are w'ell adapted for securing purification of the w'ater, and they are admirably arranged. Medical Officer of Health, Eccleshill, Bradford. Dear Sir, 3, Earl Street, Keighley, June 5th, 1893. I was induced to exchange a sponge filter and pay 10/- for a Movable Bed one. I subsequently found the lower plate was a fixture, and did its wo.k far worse than the old one. You took 18/- for a “Niagara” same size, and my movable bed one in exchange, and I am well pleased with this exchange. The Niagara which you sent me is in every way satisfactory. P.
