About this work

Description

Two photocopies of a letter (16 October, 1906, signed ts) from Henry Dale (WPRL) to Henry Wellcome (Snow Hill Buildings), beginning: "Through the kindness of Dr Power my attention was drawn about a week ago to a paper published in the number of the Archiv der Pharmazie appearing on September 22nd. This paper dealt with ergot and its alkaloids...." Henry Wellcome is informed that, in order to facilitate scientific priority, Dr Barger and Dr Dale have written a short account of their work for the German journal. The letter refers to an enclosed translation of their account submitted for Wellcome's approval, but this is not present in the file.

This letter does not appear amongst the letters in WF/WPRL/06.
