Covers issues such as research on patients, complaints and claims procedures, compensation cases, liability, medical injury cases, proposed patients charter, role and activities of the Patients Association, information to terminal patients, techniques used in childbirth, confidentiality of medical records and patient access, patient rights in hospitals, clinical tests of new drugs, informed consent.

Mainly memoranda and notes on questions received, some letters from national and local television and radio companies (e.g. Thames TV, BBC, Granada TV), journals, magazines, and national and local newspapers, newspaper and magazine articles.
