Project Summary:This proposal is to provide co-production funding for a Channel Five documentary about the Mary Rose. The film would include the science of how repeated actions during the lives of those on board caused physiological and anatomical changes to their bodies, which will be investigated on screen by scientific study of the remains. Wellcome Trust funding will allow the experiments to be filmed and also enable the filming of a CGI segment of the programme explaining the science.
