Proclamation published in Reggio on 7 June 1656 by Bartolomeo Eanona (chancellor), Dr. Aurelio Zaneletti, Gambazocchi Rolli and Lelio Becchi warning of 'contagion' (probably plague) in Naples, Orbatello, Port' Ercole, Civita Vecchia, Talamone, San Stefano, Piombino and the island of Elba with the exception of Porto Ferraio, forbidding people who have been to these places to enter the city of Reggio upon pain of death and confiscation of property.
