Institutions pharmaceutiques, 1650. Gerard de Rennes. Compendium institutionum pharmaceuticarum ... datum ... 1651: in French. A few medical receipts by a different contemporary hand: in French, Herbarium (Hortus Siccus). 1681. The `Herbarium' contains specimens inserted in slits cut in the paper: many have been damaged or lost. Each has its Latin name written in. On the second preliminary leaf: `Ex libris Petri Boucinel Doctoris medici facultatis Rennensis'.  Produced in Rennes.

Set in 'Paul's walk', the nave of old St Paul's Cathedral, London, which was described by Ainsworth as a market and meeting place. "Blaize" is one of the characters in the novel. One of the men on the right with a young woman is John Wilmot, Earl of Rochester

Collection of extracts on the Plague, from the earliest times to 1687. An encyclopaedic collection of excerpts from works of physicians and others who have written on the subject, with references in each case to the books consulted: it includes also notes of prescriptions for prevention and cure, and is for the most part in Latin, though there are also extracts from English writers.
