Biographical note
It was decided in April 1990 to focus public attention on post-coital contraception by distributing an FPA leaflet on the subject as part of the Pharmacy Health Care Campaign. This tied in more generally with the FPA's on-going campaign to raise awareness of emergency contraception amongst GPs and the public.
The leaflet was distributed and then followed up with an evaluation survey to measure its success.
