Description
Draft of Mackenzie's account of work in Russia (181pp) entitled "An English Doctor in Mesopotamia and Soviet Russia: letters and records by Melville D Mackenzie". In the account, MDM is referred to as "Terry", presumably to protect the Friends. The account quotes extensively from Mackenzie's diaries and medical records kept in Mesopotamia and Russia. The draft also includes an introduction by the editor (unnamed), hand drawn maps, and a number of photographs from Russia.
