The Womanschoice Research Fellowship was set up with the remaining proceeds of the Wendy Savage Appeal Fund (see PP/WDS/A.4 for more on WSAF). The aims of Womanschoice were:

• "1) To advance education of the public at large concerning pregnancy, childbirth and child rearing, particularly in terms of the choice available.
• 2) To promote research concerning any aspect of the above
• 3) To promote the provision of medical care, treatment and services related to the above objectives"

Savage was officially a trustee of Womanschoice.
