Description

The first part of the Mathematique, concerning showers and the mutations of the ayre. albohazen. The eighth and last part of the Booke ... concerning the judgments of the starres, where it is spoken of the Revolutions of the yeeres. [In complete.] The fourth part [of the Mathematique] concerning the revolutions of the veares. Ptolemaeus (C.) The Centiloquium, or Aphorismes ... turned into Latine out of Greeke by Georgius Trapezuntius, and out of Latine into English by Thomas Blackbourne, gent. and illustrated with commentaries. Holograph translation by Thomas Blackbourne. The text is written within red or black rules.

Original stamped calf binding over wooden boards, defective. A number of leaves have been torn out after the first and second works, together with the whole of the Preface of the last work, except the first two leaves: some margins frayed and damp-stained.
