Project Officer: Smoking in the Workplace and Public Places

The Project Officer was employed to deal with matters relating to the rights of the non-smoker, and smoking in public places and the workplace. Projects included surveys of non-smoking provision in trains, airlines, cinemas, the compilation of a list of non-smoking hotels and guest houses, and working with firms and individuals in the implementation of workplace smoking policies. Reports from several of the surveys can be found in section T.2.
