Notebook titled "A Natural History Diary" on the front cover, subtitled "A Diary of Nature from April 30th to July 23rd" on first page. Contains a diary of plants and animals that Penrose observed on nature walks, and includes drawings as well as pieces of leaf, feather, and insects that have been stuck into the book.
