Description

Notes on lectures on the practice of physic [given at Edinburgh] by William Cullen. References to recent works by Ferdinando Warner (ff. 178-182) and William Cadogan (f. 241) [published in 1768 and 1771] date the lectures to c. 1771-72. Incomplete being Vol. 4 only of a set of notes, containing lectures on ophthalmia, visceral inflammations (phrenitis, cynanche, peripneumonia, carditis, peritonitis etc.) and articular inflammations (rheumatism, arthritis).
