Biographical note
The Fisher Memorial Trust is a charitable trust founded in 1965 to promote interest in the life and work of Sir Ronald Aylmer Fisher through the establishment of Fisher Memorial Lectures. The Sir Ronald Fisher memorial Committee of Great Britain is composed of representatives from the Royal Society, the Royal Statistical Society, the Genetical Society, and the Biometric Society. Both Robert Race and Ruth Sanger served on the Committee on behalf of the Genetical Society.
