About this work

Description

An artificially assembled file of Coopers memorabilia, including:

Souvenir to celebrate Jubilee of Service in the Cooper Organisation (handkerchief) (1924);

Cooper's Sheep Dipping Powder May 1885 (promotional flyer for sales);

Booklet 'Sheep Dipping & Its Advantages to the Flock-Master' by William Cooper & William Farmer Cooper;

Leaflet 'Cooper's Dipping Powder' (promotional booklet, c 1885);

Richard Ashmole Cooper's Funeral Service, Order of Service, 8 Mar 1946.

This Mr Lancashire was probably Geoffrey Lancashire, who joined Coopers in 1946. He wrote the paper 'The Berkhamsted Site 1937-1984', a useful potted history / memoir. He had presumably borrowed these items from another part of the 'archives' originally.
