Description

Letters from J E Dutton to members of his family from Nigeria, Gambia and the Congo (on expeditions concerned with malaria, filariasis, trypanosomiasis, and tick-borne relapsing fever), 1900-1904, with a fragment of a journal dated at Kasongo, 2 January, no year [1903-1905].

The letters include a number of small sketches, including a pen and ink drawing of the tsetse fly before and after feeding.
