Correspondence, memoranda and reports re role of Campaign and Executive Committee Chairman, Lockhart-Mummery (see E.3/12), in the foundation of the National Radium Fund, National Radium Trust and National Radium Commission in 1929, including the Campaign's original scheme for an appeal with The Times and other newspapers and information on amount of radium in use in various countries.

The National Radium Commission was set up to purchase and distribute radium for the treatment of cancer patients; radium was very expensive then - £12,000 per gram.
