Biographical note
The charges of the Commission on Education were to:
1. Interact with the existing commissions of the ILAE where their implementation plans had an education element
2. Coordinate activities concerned with professional and public education
More specific objectives for the 1989-1993 commission were to research into effective educational activities; publish a catalogue on educational resources for epilepsy; and maintain liaison with IBE's Audiovisual Commission
The Commission also organised lecture tours, particularly in India and ran workshops at the annual congresses.
