About this work
Description
The Photographs - 2010 Accession subseries (SB/8/3) consists of 147 photographs from 1944 through the 2000s. Many of the photographs are annotated by May Brenner, indicated “(May Brenner)” in the descriptions. Of note is an informal photograph of Dr. Brenner with Vernon Ingram, Chris Anfinsen (bow tie) and Max Perutz in Cambridge, 1957. Also of note is a highly informal 1980 photograph at the Sanger Nobel Prize celebrations with Dr. Brenner, Max Perutz and Fred Sanger. Another highlight is a 1986 photograph of Dr. Brenner and Francis Crick “signing” a chalkboard. Finally, the series contains many photographs of Dr. Brenner’s home in Ely, Cambridgeshire, England.
