About this work

Description

1 artwork identified by Rita Simon's pseudonym "Tuberculosis Patient 12 - Mrs Bird" which shows a large area of black paint across the centre and blue paint below, with dabs of blue above and over the black painted area. The bottom part of the paper has been folded over and painted onto. Rita Simon said: "She worked by tapping on the paint in one colour, and then she would take another colour and tap in on top, fascinating!"
