Description

Volume of student notes taken by Martin in surgery lectures. The only date given in the volume is Jan 1908. Ff.1-2 gives a definition of types of medicine. Ff.2-4 notes several conditions, including anorexia, annuria and melena. F.5 describes methods of examination of case. F.6 describes how to stae the case. Ff.7-197 notes various diseases, their causes and treatment including anthrax, diseases of the heart, laryingytis and diseases of the stomach. Where approriate legislation is mentioned in the case of notifiable diseases and how to destroy the carcase. F.198 blank. 198ff. Most of the text is on the recto, the verso being left blank.
