Typescript of L S Penrose's account of his trip to the USA to receive his Joseph P Kennedy Jr Foundation International Award. Includes anecdotes about the voyage and his meetings with various people, including Robert Kennedy. Also includes a hand-drawn diagram showing the layout of the ceremony, a copy of a photograph of Penrose receiving his award from US President Lyndon B Johnson and a hand-drawn map showing Penrose's route across the Atlantic.
