    RISHWOBTH URBAN SANITARY DISTRICT. MEDICAL OEPICER’S ANNUAL REPORT Eor the Year 1900. Gentlemen, I respectfully Leg to present to you my Annual Report as Medical Officer of Health to the Rishworth Urban District Council for the year 1900. I am thankful to say the health of the district has been very satisfactory during the year, at any rate as far as ■ regards the Principal Zymotic Diseases. During the first three months of the year Influenza of a mild type was epidemic, but no deaths were registered as due to this malady* Only six cases of Infectious Disease have been reported during the year. Eive of these were cases of Scarlatina. A careful enquiry into each of these cases failed to discover the origin of the infection, and, with the exception of two cases on the outskirts of the inhabited part of the district, any connection between the cases. Good isolation was maintained in the houses v/here these cases occurred, and a thorough disinfection was carried out by the Inspector. •' 1
