About this work

Description

A sketch in Rita Simon's Massive Transition style, produced by a teenage tuberculosis patient. He initially produced childish paintings of cowboys and Indians but one day produced this drawing and after that could talk about his fear. This information has been taken from notes made during conversations between Rita Simon and Wellcome staff between 1995 and 1997. The same patient produced the artwork in PP/RSI/B/2/7/32.
