Description

Iododermia and bromodermia, and idiosyncrasies to iodides and iodine and bromides. Bad results of iodide and iodine and bromide therapy. Eruptions, jaundice, toxic symptoms, porphyinuria, etc from luminal, noiranal, veronal, medinol and barbitone preparations; sanocrysin; atophone and similar drugs; hepatic atrophy also from acriflavine, also [illeg]urotrophia (rash in suckling infants!). Idiosyncrasies to foods, drugs, etc. Cocaine idiosyncrasies and accidents. Idiosyncratic pyrexias. 'Abnormalities and idiosyncrasies' (FPW). Effects of histamine (on the skin, headaches, flushing, etc). various (cutaneous, bronchial, etc) allergic phenomena of emotional or psychical origin. Mental influences on the skin, including the subject of 'symbolism'.
