About this work

Description

The video starts with a montage of various sports. Young players can experience neck and back injuries. A number of sports medicine specialists are involved in the video. Iain Dugg looks after a rugby team; he indicates the severity of neck and back injuries. Dr Paul Mackenzie looks after golf professionals; Susan Miller is a physiotherapist who works with golf professionals (they seem to suffer from more than usual wear and tear). Dr John Crane works with football professionals; young players can be very skillful when they start at the academy but may need rehabilitation as muscle imbalance can cause injuries. Malcolm Reid was a hockey professional and now a doctor; he remarks on how few back injuries he encounters in hockey players. He explains why this is comparing the strength of hamstrings for different sports. The video promotes Robaxin 750, fast relief for painful muscle spasm.
