Correspondence file of J H Burn. In a note (1991), Paton writes: "Included are 2 files of J H Burn's time as chairman (passed to me I think when Prof. Smith was clearing out old files). Interesting is the interaction with E A Pask (who did outstandingly courageous expts. on survival suits for the RAF during the War - a very intelligent quirky man, whom I later restored to the Committee) and Burn's hopes for 'Compound C'" (D/1/1).
