Art at school (artwork)

An artwork by Physical Illness Patient 8 - "Henri" which shows a female figure standing on a table with art easels around. Rita Simon said: "She associated the art therapy with school."

The quote above was taken from notes made during conversations between Rita Simon and Wellcome staff between 1995 and 1997.

The title has been taken from lettering on the verso of the artwork.

Rita Simon classified this artwork as Traditional Linear on the verso of the artwork and marked it as number 1 in the sequence on the recto although there are also numbers 2 and 3 written on the recto as well as the date the artwork was made.
