About this work

Description

Correspondence and press cuttings re work of Dr Issels and a controversial BBC programme, 'Go Climb a Mountain', about his Ringberg Clinic in Bavaria, Germany, including enquiries and stories from the public about the effectiveness of his cancer 'cure' and requests to fund relatives' treatment, plus the Campaign's investigation and views on the treatment. (A team comprising people from the CRC, ICRF and MRC visited the clinic but concluded that his treatment was not effective in curing cancer). This file also contains the Campaign's correspondence with a woman who criticises them for wasting money on advertisements and berates their role in the suppression of effective homeopathic cancer therapies and promotion of medicines made by large drug companies.
