Letter from E L Tanner, UCL Secretary, to J B S Haldane dated 14 Jul 1941 regarding income from grants and expenditure for 1941-1942.


Letter from Haldane to Tanner dateed 23 Jul 1941 asking for clarification of some of the figures in Tanner's letter of 14 Jul 1941 and advising that the Royal Society provided a grant for Dr Grüneberg to publish his book.


Letter from Tanner to Haldane dated 1 Aug 1941 concerning an outstanding balance from the Weldon Fund.


Letter from Tanner to Haldane dated 22 Aug 1941 outlining the amount of money available for 1941-1942, and enclosing a breakdown of income and expenditure.


Letter from Haldane to Tanner dated 27 Aug 1941 in response to Tanner's letter of 22 Aug 1941, concerning the breakdown of staff salaries, savings currently being made by the department, and the effective date of salary increases for Miss Jermyn and Dr Spurway.
