Biographical note

Miss Margaret Knott was the first non-CSP Member to be awarded the Fellowship. She was co-ordinator of patient services at the Kaiser Foundation Rehabilitation Centre, Vallejo, California, at the time of the award in 1963. She was awarded the Fellowship for her "distinguished service to the advancement of physiotherapy in the development and teaching of the techniques of proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation."
