Description

This is a collection of correspondence both personal and professional of Dr Maitland Radford. It covers a lot of material on both Public Health and Child Welfare. It includes correspondence on his pension and superannuation fund; his illness in 1943; the Polish Administration Course in London; health warning pamphlets written by Maitland; lectures on Infant and Child Hygeine for the College of Nursing; research on milk; notes on war-time nutrition for the British Medical Association; work on the relation of the British Medical Profession to the State; and more. There is a separate folder orginally labelled by Maitland, 'Lectures in Hygiene Royal Free Hospital' contianing Maitland's lectures for part of the syllabus in Hygiene for the M.B. examination.
