About this work

Description

Letters from various correspondents to Galton regarding composite photography. Some discuss the photography methods for achieving the best results and others sent individual photographs for Galton to use in his research. Includes some of the photographs. Several corresponents refer to a "circular" they received from Galton, who appears to have asked friends and acquaintances for photographs to use in his composite studies. For a copy of this circular letter see GALTON/2/8/1/2/5.
