Description

Set of letters and photographs with a label by Karl Pearson reading: "Galton's Composite Photographs of the Griffith Family with Galton's letters describing is methods and particulars of the Family. Given to me by Leopold Griffith Oct 12. 1932".

Consists of copies of three letters from Galton to "Mr Griffith" regarding composite photographs of the Griffith family. Includes twenty photographs of the Griffith children. Mixture of individual photos and composites, pasted onto three boards. Also includes a letter from C L T Griffith to Karl Pearson dated 10 October 1932 regarding the Griffiths family photographs, with a key to the indentity of the children and a list of the history and occupations of various family members.
