About this work
Description
An artwork by Physical Illness Patient 6 - "Linda" which shows worms or slugs in a landscape of brightly coloured structures. Rita Simon said: "Her defensiveness is breaking down, she's trying to detatch herself from the emotion, moving things away from her."
The title has been taken from an inscription on the recto of the artwork; the quote above was taken from notes made during conversations between Rita Simon and Wellcome staff, 1995-1997.
Rita Simon classified this artwork as Massive Transition on the verso of the artwork and marked it as number 7 in the sequence.
