Fundación General Mediterranean (Miguel Servet Fund)

The Fundación, a philanthropic non-profit foundation, was established in 1971; the Maguel Servet Fund was created in April 1973 under the patronage of the Fundación with the aim of assisting research in diseases of the heart.

Chain served as Honorary Member of the Council.

Material includes invitation to serve, arrangements for meetings, conferences, awards of Miguel Servet Prizes, and a little scientific correspondence. Chain gave his lecture on 'Government', the Medical Sciences and the People' at the Fundación's meeting in October 1975 (see J.163).
