Biographical note

The Working Party was established in 1978 as a means of improving the system of inspection, also called visits, in which members of the CSP along with members of the Physiotherapy Board of the Council for Professions Supplemental to Medicine inspected Schools of Physiotherapy to ensure standards of education were met. The Working Party hoped to identify means of improving communication between those involved and also to remove the threat of subjective bias.
