Letter from Gladys E Russell, Secretary to the Director of Medical Sciences at The Rockefeller Foundation, dated 6 Mar 1946 acknowledging Haldane's letter to O'Brien, and stating they expect further communication on Haldane's work.


Letter from W Weaver, Director of Natural Sciences at The Rockefeller Foundation, to Haldane dated 23 Apr 1946 informing him of a new member of staff, Dr Pomerat, who will be responsible for their European activities.


Handwritten and typewritten copies of a etter from Haldane to Weaver dated 2 May 1946 providing a report on current research, his hopes for new members of staff and reasons for delaying submission of an estimated budget to the Foundation.


Handwritten and typewritten copies of a letter from Haldane to H M Miller, Assistant Director of The Rockefeller Foundation, dated 2 May 1946 stating that he would be very keen to meet Miller and Pomerat whilst they are in Europe, and providing a summary of the department's research.


Letter from G R Pomerat, The Rockefeller Foundation, to Haldane dated 8 May 1946 thanking him for the summary of his progress with research and stating that he would like to visit Haldane's laboratories in June, when he returns to England.


Letter from Weaver to Haldane dated 7 Jun 1946 thanking Haldane for his letter of 2 May 1946 with the report on the department's research, and informing him that a decision regarding further support for the department is unlikely to be made until the Autumn.
