Description
Material relating to a historical pageant held in Dartford in 1932 and of the town's incorporation as a Municipal Borough in 1933.
From the opening of their main factory in Dartford in 1897, Burroughs Wellcome & Co had strong ties with the local community. In this instance, H. A. D. Jowett, then Works Manager at the factory, served on the committee organising the pageant.
