Gwen Prout stamp collection vol.1 Nobel Prize Medicine 1901-1908

The volume comprises a collection of stamps, first day covers, biographies and press cuttings about various winners of the Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine awarded between 1901 and 1908. Some of the items come with annotations and captions made by Gwen Prout. The stamps come from all over the world covering Europe, Africa, South America, Asia and North America. The volume also includes a list of the award winners, their year of award, their nationality and research area for all winners from 1901 to 2015.
