Diary notes. Typescript carbon copy; 139pp. "Col Tubby's Diary June 20 1915- (Oct 31 1915)"

The diary notes are different from Col Tubby's published account of the period, containing considerably more detail, but only covering the first five months in the Middle East (whereas the book continues until 1919]. A few parts of the typescript are blank where names of people and places have been omitted. The typescript is evidently based on original diary entries, and descriptions include the journey to Gallipoli, his colleagues, arrangements on board and the treatment of wounded.
