Biographical note
Miss Randell was the founder of the Elspeth Curphey Kingdon Prize and Bursary Funds and a former member of the Educational Funds Committee. She passed the Massage Examination of the Incorporated Society of Trained Masseuses at St Thomas' Hospital in 1909 and worked there for 39 years altogether.
