About this work

Description

Tim Biscoe was a Secretary of the Physiological Society from 1977-1980, and Senior Secretary in 1980. He dealt particularly with Parliament and the Council of Europe, and continued to work on legislation after Joe Lamb took over as Secretary. From 1986, he formed a small sub-committee with Anthony Angel and Cecil Kidd to monitor the workings of the Animals (Scientific Procedures) Act 1986.
